PAUL PETER NICOLAI, B.A., J.D., is a graduate of American International College, Western New England University and holds a certificate from the Harvard University Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers. He is an elected Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and has held leadership positions in the American Bar Association. He is a Best Lawyer in America® for Commercial Litigation and is listed in multiple editions of Who’s Who, including Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World.
In his thirty-five year career Attorney Nicolai has represented buyers and sellers in hundreds of business sale transactions in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia. His transaction experience ranges from small market deals to multi-hundred million-dollar transactions. His participation in the American Bar Association Business Law Section includes the Angel Venture Capital Committee, Committee on International Business Law, China Law Committee, Corporate Compliance Committee, Entity Rationalization Committee, Committee on Legal Opinions, Negotiated Acquisitions Committee, State Regulation of Securities Committee, Venture Capital & Private Equity Committee and the Middle Market & Small Business Committee, among others.
Atty. Nicolai practices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Washington, DC and many Federal courts. He is a member of the several American Arbitration Association panels including the Large, Complex Case Panel, FINRA Arbitration Panel and co-chairs the Massachusetts Bar Association Fee Arbitration Board Committee where he hears attorney fee dispute arbitrations.
He has presented hundreds of seminars for business owners and lawyers and published dozens of articles in regional and national publications including publications of the American Arbitration Association, American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, among others.
