I became a Valley Venture Mentor because I believe in their idea: help people that have ideas for new businesses to explore those ideas and hopefully see them become real. I realized long ago that successful businesses require team resources to accomplish their goals. This team includes internal managers and well-qualified external resources – legal, accounting, advisory, etc. that complement each other’s contributions. I think that VVM provides an important service to aspiring companies and offers insights and connections that may help them grow.
I grew up in Western Mass and attended UMass Amherst and Western New England University. I became a CPA because it allows me to work with a variety of management teams in different industries. I find that interesting because many ideas/strategies are adaptable among industries so it is rewarding to bring my clients ideas that they can put into action.
