PlayGiveWin, a startup accepted in the VVM program, has applied to be a part of the 2012 MassChallenge competition and accelerator program. MassChallenge uses this competition to identify startup companies with the most promising, high-impact ideas. For Nathaniel Davis, CEO of PlayGiveWin, “MassChallenge is an excellent opportunity to build on the growth and progress we have made over the last six months as part of the Valley Venture Mentors program! It is also a great opportunity to network with future customers and win part of the $1 million grand prize”.
Beginning in April, top investors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs will judge and score the startups through several rounds. The top 125 startups will be accepted into the accelerator program offered by MassChallenge. During this three month program, the selected startups will have access to expert mentors, investors, and lawyers, as well as technology, facilities, training and events, and media opportunities. Upon completion of the three month accelerator program, judges identify 10-20 startups who will split the $1 million cash award.
